5 MONTHS OLD

Ok I know I am getting a late start at this but late is better than never. As many of you know I have put in my notice in at Telepak Networks and I only have 5 more days. And I am going to be a full time mom! I feel so blessed to be able to go home with her. I feel like I have missed so much of her life already. But not anymore, Im gonna see it all :)

Well as far as Stormie's progess right now.

On January 1,2008 she said Hey 3 times. My step son Seth heard it one of the times. I told everyone and everyone was a little hesitant to belive me. Then on January 2, 2008 while I was at work. My mother in law and father in law had Stormie and my father in law Mr. Tony was talking and Stormie interrupted him by saying HEY! Once Mrs Jan told Manche and me then he believed me. He tried all night long to get her to say it again and of course she wouldn't.

The next morning as me and her got up she said it again. And Manche missed it again :(

She has not said it agian, but this was her 1st real repeat word as I like to call it. She did say ma ma on November 6, 2007 and November 7, 2007 but I was the only one who heard it. And Seth has heard her say ma before.

Ok lets see what else. She is rolling over like crazy. She can do this push up type thing where she pushes up with her arms and her tippy toes. So crawling might be soon who knows? She is using her hands very well. She is grabbing her feet and putting them in her mouth :) She loves toys now. She will play with them grab them and pull to her. It is so neat to watch her do all these things.

Also she is starting to want to sleep on her stomach at night which scares me to death (Huge fear) Im just scared she is going to stop breathing. Although she can hold her head up for a long time. I guess just one of the many fears a mother has.

She is also teething. She is such a good baby. She hardly ever fusses. So this teething thing has been pretty easy so far. Knock on wood. She just knaws on her hands and fingers she will chew on anyone's chin that will allow it. And she loves a cold teething ring :)

She is growing up so fast it is so neat to watch her. We are so blessed to have this little girl in our lifes. I dont know how we have lived without her all this time. It has only be 5 months but it seems like its been forever and yet so short all in the same time. Sort of hard to explain that one :)

I am going to try and keep up with this since I will be home and have time to do it. And I know all my fellow co workers and everyone else will want to keep up with Little Ms Stormie :)
