6 Month Check up - Yesterday 2-12-08

Stormie had a checkup to go get her shots yesterday. She weighed in at 15 pounds 9 oz!! She was 26 3/4 inches long. The doctor said she is above average in height! So she is tall :) Must of got it from her daddy.
The doctor asked me what all she was doing and she asked was she scooting when I told her what all she is doing and that she is about to be crawling the doctor was impressed. She said most babies don't start this until they are like 9 months old or so. Yay for Stormie! She asked has she tried a sippy cup? I told her yes and yesterday on our way home I gave it to her with water in it and she drank the majority of it. So I would say I think she has the hang of it. :) She learned pretty quick. Its the NUK cup and its a transition cup and its great! But overall she is doing great and progressing quickly! And of course I hated the shot part because it just breaks my heart to hear her cry like that!!! But she did the best this time she only cried for a few minutes. THANK GOD!


Ok well the picture below is my grandparents new dog. And he is 1/2 Maltese and 1/2 poodle. He is 9 weeks old and weighs 1 pound. He is so cute! Because he is so little. And he looks big in these pictures compared to what he is. Well we showed Miss Stormie and she wanted to eat the little guy. She was pulling his hair! Every time I brought the dog near her his heart would beat super fast. He was so scared of her. But we got some darn cute pictures!!! ENJOY!

Oh I forgot to mention that she has learned how to stick her tounge out at you and she will copy you if you stick yours out at her. Its so cute. Her and her daddy did this for a long time the other morning. Its so cute! This is the best picture I got. For some reason if she is doing this and I break out the camera she will not do it anymore. Ha Also she will only stick her tounge to the side and she curls it ha ha
