Hey! I'm Leah, Shonda's cousin. She told me you were having trouble getting your little girl to sleep at night. Well, I had the same problem with my little boy until I finally put him in his bed and let him cry. It was very, very HARD. I still put him to sleep at first, but when he wakes, I let him cry himself back to sleep. He slept in my room in his bassinet until he could sit up by himself and I was scared he would fall out. That's when he started sleeping with me...and I just could let him get used to it. I dont' know her feeding schedule, but it helped me when he finally started eating 3 full meals a day with 1 or 2 snacks. He's not as hungry. He went from waking up 3 times a night to sleeping for 12 FULL hours. Also, I bought an aquarium thing to put on the side of his bed. And when he would wake up and cry I would turn that on. It has a remote, so he doesn't see me, because if he does that only makes it worse. The first few nights he cried about 30-45 minutes. But, after that he doesn't even wake up. If he does, he wimpers and goes right back to sleep...I even sometime hear him playing in his bed. LOL Hope this helps. I know it's really hard, but it will only get harder as she gets older! Eventually she'll be in a toddler bed and you won't be able to contain her and she will just get up and come to your room! That's what happened to my cousin with both of her little girls.
