Sick Stormie

Saturday Stormie and I went to my grand parents because Manche had to work. She was not feeling well but we thought it was because she was teething. She had been running fever for a few days. Well I was concerned because she had not tee teed since 7: 30 that morning and this was later on in the day and she was drinking a lot. Well she started feeling worse and worse so I called her doctor and they said I needed to take her to the after hours clinic ASAP. Well I was thinking UTI ! My mammaw went with us and when they called us back and the nurse checked her temp by ear she screamed. Well I thought since her feelings had been on her shoulders all day that was why she cried. Then the doctor came in and he checked her ears and she screamed and cried again. She did this with both. To our surprise she has a DOUBLE ear infection! He said she may not be urinating correctly because her body is just taking all the fluids that it needs and she has none to release. So the nurse came in and said to make sure she has 2 more diapers by 7 am or I need to call them back. They gave her antibodies to help with the ears.

So on our way home she did tee tee once. The next morning yesterday, she was way worse. She woke up in her sleep throwing up and she would not drink or eat anything she threw up three times and was dry heaving and she still had not tee teed since 5:30 pm the day before. So I called the doctors again. They thought I needed to take her to the ER well while waiting to hear from them she did tee tee but still was not drinking so as we got our things together to go to the ER it was like she knew well she drank a half of a cup of pedalyte at one time and starting eating her favorite lil crunchies cheetoes. And she started playing and acting like herself so we decided we would wait it out and see how things went. Well we went to Manche's parents and she ate ribs, mac and cheese, and ice cream and was drinking and playing so we decided she was going to be ok. She is better today but still not 100 % yet. I am so glad we did not have to go to the ER and get her a drip. Thank the good lord for that! Here are some pictures! Yesterday morning after throwing up daddy and her napping.
