First Ear Infection!

So we had a rough night last night. It took me a while to get Stormie to sleep then once we went to bed. She woke up so I had to start all over. Then we got in bed at 10:30 or so, then around 11:30 she woke up screaming. She did not want to nurse. I got her calm finally with the paci. I rocked her again and finally she was out around 12 ish. So I went back to bed and not even 30 minutes later up again screaming. So I woke Manche and told him he had to move Seth off the couch so I could sit up and let Stormie sleep. So he moved Seth and our couch reclines so I rocked her back to sleep and got on the couch. Not very comfortable but for her I did it. (See she has had a runny/ stopped up nose so I thought she can not breathe) And on top of this she is burning up with fever the whole time! This continued all night long where she would only sleep 30 minutes to an hour at a time. Around 7: 30 she woke up for the day. I spoke to my friend Jessica and she said its an ear infection. So I got ready and off to the doctor we went. And yes it was an ear infection but we caught it in the beginning so that is good. Her blood count was 18,800 and its suppose to be around 10,900 for normal. So my poor baby got a shot of rocephin (spelling) and some antibiotics to take 3 times a day till gone. Also they weighed her and she is 19 pounds 5 oz!! She is doing a lot better. We took a looooooooooong nap after the doc visit to catch up and she has been playing but I am sure tonight will be worse. Let's hope not! So that is how my night and day have gone!
