Ok Stormie is SICK!

After Stormie's eye continued to get worse and drain more and get really red around it and her nose would not stop pouring I decided to call the nurse and she said it sounded like an eye infection caused from another infection and I needed to bring her in. SO off we went and she weighed 21 lbs and the doctor said she has conjunctividious (Spelling sorry) and an upper respiratory infection. She had a low grade fever. The doctor put her on eye drops and antibiotics. I gave them both to her around four. She would not eat much or drink a whole lot today and after I gave her the medicine I tried to give her a chicken tender but she refused it. Well at 5 she threw up really bad!!!!! It is the worse that she has ever thrown up. And she would go limp after this and she was asleep before she threw up and immediately fell right back asleep. So I laid her down and not one minute later she started crying so I got her to rock her again and she started throwing up again then going limp. I am not sure if it is because the antibiotics were taken on a partially empty stomach or what. So I called the pharmacy because the doc office was closed and they said next time she takes it to give her a smaller dose and to try and make her eat something. Well she has laid around letting me hold her and ate about 10 cheerios and drank a very small amount of juice. She decided to get up and play and I am writing this as she plays so maybe it will pass and she will get better soon. I am praying that is what will happen!
So I will update later when I get the chance and see how things go with the next dose of medicine.

And to add to all this she has had an upset stomach half of the week and now this. Poor baby can not get a break. Two weeks ago she was sick with a really bad cough!

This was earlier today before her eyes got too bad.

This is tonight. While she is feeling a little better and eating a little.

Being silly
Notice her eye now
Her left eye is worse!

Eating a little bit.

OOOOWWWAAA

I am hoping when she gets her next round of antibiotics she will not throw up....

Have you tried those pedilyte pops (not sure I spelled that correct)? I've heard they are good, and the pedilyte helps keep her hydrated...I remember my mom giving it to my sister years ago! Hope she feels better soon!!
